A Mother WatchesA long time ago a mother was by the sea, Watching her dreams go by slowly. Her dreams flowed on and on till open waters pulled them in. Each had a blessing noted he or she, a girl or a boy would become of thee. As the mothers dreams when out in the open she prayed to God that they would become something someday. The mother of her children as she watched them grow she knew someday she would have to go. On a designed day this mother prevailed, on this beautiful May Day I opened and prayed and designated 2nd Sunday on the 14th Day, to be spread around the world as Mother’s Day. A Fathers Broken PromiseOne day he came and lifted me up into his arms and said a good girl am I. It was one Easter Sunday that was shining so bright. Being 7 years old and not hardly nowing I presented a smile that was really glowing. He sat me on his lap and we went into our church. While on his lap I even tugged on his shirt. We listened to the message of how Jesus rose from the dead. It so powerful of what the pastor said. The end of service had finally presented itself. Giving me gifts to celebrate the season.
